Monfort, one place, many stories
At the gates of Trento, where the Adige Valley narrows between vineyards and the Brenner railway still sets the pace of the landscape, stands Monfort. Founded in 1945 as a winery, the estate found its home in a place steeped in memory: the building of the F.lli Armellini Enological Winery, designed in 1890 and completed in 1898. Since 2024, Monfort has inhabited these historic walls, intertwining its classic-method sparkling winemaking art with the character of a building that has spanned over a century, today guided by the Simoni family.

A visit to Monfort is an invitation to slow down. The garden that welcomes guests today, the gloriette, and the ancient icehouse tell of a dialogue between different eras, between what time has transformed and what it continues to preserve. Walking through these spaces, before entering the production areas, means experiencing the winery as a journey, not just a destination.

Monfort welcomes visitors with guided tours by reservation, designed to tell the story of the classic method and the vinification of different Trentino varieties. Each visit concludes with a guided tasting of Monfort labels — and, for those wishing to discover the winery's full soul, also Sers! wines, an expression of Trentino's ancient varieties. A tailored experience for those seeking not just a flavor in wine, but a story.
