Obtained from the classical varieties Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, originally from Bordeaux, France, these are generous wines with strong personalities.
Vinification includes a long contact with the skins and repeated pressings to extract colour and tannins. After the first decanting the wine is placed in medium-toasted barriques. After bottling, the wine is aged for about four months.
Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, when used separately, generate their respective wines but, when blended, generate the wine known as Trentino D.O.C. Cabernet.

Garnet red with orange-colored tinges when aged.

Broad-ranging, with obvious vegetal and herbaceous hints.
Taste
Full-bodied, mellow and velvety.
Food and wine pairing
It's better matched with roasted red meats, game and ripe hard cheeses.
