Ristorante Da Anita

A family story carried on at the table, between Trentino recipes and contemporary interpretations

There are places where simply sitting down at the table makes you feel at home. At Ristorante Da Anita, inside Chalet Prà delle Nasse in San Martino di Castrozza, that feeling comes naturally: the warmth of a family welcome, the scent of wood and a cuisine rooted in the story of the people behind it.

It all began with grandmother Anita, who once ran a small restaurant in San Martino, preparing simple, carefully made dishes and turning every meal into a moment to share. Her passion for cooking never faded, and today it lives on in Michele's kitchen, where the flavours of Trentino cuisine are given a contemporary touch and menus follow the changing seasons.

The dishes are built around genuine, local and seasonal ingredients: fruit and vegetables from local gardens and growers, along with carefully selected meats, cheeses and wines that highlight the flavours of the mountains. From canederli to polenta with mushrooms and game, familiar recipes provide the starting point for dishes that bring something new to the table while remaining rooted in Trentino cuisine.

While Michele takes care of the kitchen, Anita's mother welcomes guests in the dining room with the same warmth that has always been part of the family's way of doing things. It is this meeting of generations, traditional recipes and new ideas that gives the restaurant its distinctive character.

Ristorante Da Anita is located inside Chalet Prà delle Nasse, in a beautiful setting at the foot of the Pale di San Martino. Warm wooden interiors and an intimate atmosphere provide the backdrop for a cuisine that pays close attention to the quality of its ingredients and its connection with the local area. This commitment has also been recognised by the MICHELIN Guide, which features the restaurant.

The chalet also offers a small number of elegant Swiss stone pine rooms and a relaxation area, making it possible to experience San Martino di Castrozza beyond the dining table.

A genuine cuisine born from a family story and shaped over time without losing its identity. Because at Da Anita, the mountains are not only something to admire: they are something to taste, share and experience.
