Azienda Agricola Dott. Carlo Filiberto Bleggi
The farm has been in the hands of the Bleggi family since 1780, and is, therefore, one of the oldest in the region. Among its productions, there are several production and distribution chains ranging from specialised mountain vine growing in the Bleggio area - with vines such as Kerner, Gewurtraminer, Muller Thurgau, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay - as well as in the Valle dei Laghi area and, more precisely, on Lake Cavedine, with the native variety of Nosiola and Lagrein.
The company also grows apples: in the Bleggio area, the most prevalent varieties are Golden Delicious, Royal Gala and Johnatan. Bleggio is a region rich in quality products: the Bleggi farm cultivates different types of mountain potatoes, the famous Marano da Polenta maize as well as the renowned Bleggio walnuts.
