To be the first to zigzag your way down untouched slopes, carving graceful curves in the immaculate snow under the clear, rosy light of dawn: an experience of absolute freedom offered by Trentino Skisunrise. The event, already in its 6th year, offers a programme full of appointments to allow you to savour that special sensation when adrenaline is mixed with the peace and silence of early morning. Thanks to the early opening times of many ski-lift facilities (usually at about 6am), you’ll reach the top of the ski slopes before everyone else. The lifts bring you up to higher altitudes where you’ll find you’re in the perfect spot to admire the crisp, rosy light of dawn as it gradually illuminates the landscape. And what about the rich, hearty breakfasts served in the chalets and mountain huts? These too form an important aspect of this experience. Freshly baked bread, homemade preserves, tasty pastries along with fresh milk, yoghurt, crispy cereals and, of course, steaming coffee. You’ll also find some fine local delicacies such as cured meats and salami, tasty cheeses and freshly-laid eggs. You can come on your own or with friends, or with your entire family. Each appointment organised through this initiative, which takes place from January through to March, is organised in a different ski area. You are going to find here in this page all the details of the official programme of events, with all the necessary information to book your holiday experience.
